I have been desperately seeking end tables for my living room for months now and frankly I’m starting to lose hope. I’m slowly slipping into the deepest, darkest depths of end table despair, and this is not a good place to be! What if I never find them? Will my beautiful marble table lamps be sitting forlorn on the floor forever? Will I ever have a place to rest my cocktail (other than the coffee table, but that’s not the point)?
All I’m looking for is a matching set of vintage tables, not too expensive, any color (I’m willing to paint them). My sofa has very tall sides, so the tables have to be tall (therefore I have expanded my search to include night stands). The tables can be square, rectangle or round. I want them to have feminine, curvy, antique-y lines, to temper the modern, geometric lines of some of the other pieces in the living room. Finally, this isn’t a requirement, but all of my wildest dreams and fantasies will truly come true if I could find tables with shallow drawers like the ones above. I could really use some shallow drawers to store part of my costume jewelry collection. If fact, the tables above are pretty much perfect and I would be the luckiest girl in the world if I could find something just like them.
There! I’m putting it out there to the universe. Universe, please deliver me some tables. Tables, come to me! I’ll be waiting. With my lamps.

You should be able to find these in the white with gold antiquing “French provincial” furniture that was SO POPULAR when I was a girl. It used to be found in every thrift shop. YOu’ll find them and paint them and they will look fantastic.
