This past weekend a few friends came over and we went all crazy and painted my living room PINK. Seriously, seriously, hot pink. I’m working on a full reveal but wanted to share this little camera phone pic for now. I’m still getting used to the color – it’s fun, but it’s definitely a lot of look!
The paint I used was from a new indie paint company called YOLO that’s 100% eco-friendly. The paint is zero VOC and is free of the gnarly chemicals that can be found in wall paint – like carcinogens, formaldehyde, reproductive toxins? Barf. I don’t need that in my house, thank you very much. YOLO is also produced sustainably too. Gotta love a company that’s trying to do good things in the world. The color I used is Petal.04.
Special thanks to this good-looking crew for helping me get the job done. (Skinny jeans were mandatory on the shoot; yes I was wearing them too!)

There was only one incident of hot pink kitty tracks running across the hardwood floor in the next room. :)

Hooray for you and eco-friendly paint! Now your home will be all bright and cheerful during winter! I l bet it was sad wiping up kitty tracks. Especially hot pink ones… Kitty paws are so cute :)
