This is how Fifi spends her days. Flat as a pancake on my bed.
Because life is just so exhausting – usually it’s all she can do to open one eye just to see if I’m going to stop and pet her as I walk by. Which I usually do. Who could resist?
Oh and can I just point out one thing about this photo? Kitty lips!
By the way, I painted one wall charcoal grey in the bedroom and snagged a cute vintage needlepoint horse pillow on Etsy. The plaid blanket is a Sewing 101 post I did for Design Sponge – instructions to make one yourself are here. (Not that you want to sew a wool blanket in August, but these are great for holiday gifts, in case you’re one of those really put-together people who are planning their gifts now.)
Happy Friday, all! xoxo

I love that you decorated to best set off Fifi.
I love Fifi! She’s got the right idea. I think we’d all be happier if we took naps like our cats do.
I just got your book “Sewing in a Straight Line” and I love it! Already made the pillowcase and clutter bucket. I used what was on hand so it isn’t quite as nice as yours, but I’m so happy to have a new place to stash my ‘baby’ yarn. I’m sure I’ll be using this book a lot!
What an amazing cat! I don’t think that I would like to upset her!
OMG, your kitty is the cutest kitty ever! I love the one eyeball and those kitty lips, who could resist! The white on her chin just emphasising those kitty lips!
Hahaha your lazy girl is obsolutely adorable. I want one!!!! :P Too cute. Too cute.
I have the dog version of your cat. She’s adorable!
