catlady fridays: the lion is back

My sweet little lion is back, silky-soft as velvet and more teeny-tiny than I remembered. (Seriously, how can such a miniscule body be hiding under all that fur?)

I think Fifi loves the cut–she has been pouncing around more than usual; I think she feels lighter. Can you believe she looked like this just a few weeks ago? And here’s her lion ‘do from last year, just in case you need more tiny lion.

Oh Fifi. You’re just too much.

My girls and I got huge smiles from your cutie kitty! She looks so proud. But our kitty saw and ran away… ;)

I know some people can spin dog hair, I wonder if you can spin cat hair as well. Ever thought of trying? She looks adorable.

Fifi looks so chic! She’s such a doll!
We have two Maine coons, and one got his summer cut; he’s more “kittenish” every time he gets it.
Crazy question; when you take pics of your cat, I see your books still on the floor. What plans do you have for a bookcase/bookshelf? Following your blog, I’m sure it will be a gorgeous DIY~kitschy~antiquey delight!
Love your blog!!!

She is SO CUTE!! My cats get shaved too, but I just don’t have the guts to shave their tails … I love how huge and fluffy they are. How does Fifi behave while she’s being shaved? My cats freak out to the point where I think maybe I shouldn’t do it, but it’s so freakin hot in the summer that I feel it’s crueler to leave their coats on.
